Introducing the CSO Soccer Closet
We may be waiting to get on the field but CSO is still hard at work for our members! More good news–CSO is officially launching its new program–“The CSO Soccer Closet”.
All of us have soccer gear in closets and drawers that we don’t use anymore. All of us know the frustration of buying a pair of cleats in the fall and then our player can’t wear them in the spring. CSO to rescue!
Any one can now donate to CSO gently used and washed soccer gear–cleats, socks, balls, shorts, keeper gloves, even training apparel like t-shirts, sweatshirts, and backpacks. As the only 501c.3 non-profit soccer organization in the area CSO can write a tax receipt so families can deduct their donation. You can drop off your items or arrange for pick-up.
Beginning this summer and continuing in the fall any CSO registered player (this includes recreational, United, U8 development, TOP, and adult) can come by and simply pick up what they need. No charge.
To arrange to donate contact Tom Velek at tvelek@yahoo.com or text 386-7392. We will publicize pick-up times and events beginning this summer.
Please note our address: 413 4th Ave. S., #4. At this time this is the only location for drop-off.
